Christian Education Bills:
HB 2004  The purpose of this bill is tomodify the requirements for compulsory childhood immunizations to provide for
exemptions based on religious and philosophical objections.
SB 460  The purpose of this bill is to create exemptions to mandatory vaccination requirements to accommodate religious conviction or moral grounds.
HB 2732 The purpose of this bill is to permit a religious exemption tocompulsory school immunizations.
HB 2034  Requiring all high school students to pass a test on the US Constitution to graduate from high school.
HB 2134  Exempts school buses from paying tolls.
HB 2142  Providing that microschool tuition and fees are qualifying expenses for Hope Scholarship Accounts.
HB 2150  Would require all schools to require a course onhuman growth and development related to pregnancy and human developmentinside the womb prior to completion of the 8 th grade. *Sometimes called the “BabyOlivia Act”.
HB 2187  Authorizes Teachers in elementary or secondary schools to
carry concealed weapons and be designated as a school protection officer.
HB 2394 The purpose of this bill is to implement awearable panic alert system, to be known as Alyssa's law, in all schools in the

HB 2452  Protecting Religious Homeschooling Act. The purpose of thisbill is to exempt from ad valorem property tax all property used for divine worship,including parts of those properties that are used for educational and otherinstructional activities.
HB 2460  Any state permitting, county regulations or municipality shalltreat private schools the same as public schools when it comes to building permits, fees charged, safety standards, waste water management, septic systems, and thetimeliness of permitting process.
HB 2554  The purpose of this bill is to require all West Virginia highschool students to pass a civics examination and the United States Naturalization Examination as a prerequisite for graduation.
HB 2603  The purpose of this bill is to exempt personal incomeearned by individuals working as teachers at primary and secondary schools from personal income tax.

adhere to certain guidelines.
HB 2779  The purpose of this bill is to require that all schools maintain
cameras in areas where students are present in schools.
HB 2971  The purpose of this bill is to modify the back-to-school sales
tax holiday amount. Referred to House Finance Committee on 2/25/25.
SB 53  Prohibiting schools from starting earlier than 7:45 AM.

SB 250  Providing religious exemptions to school attendance vaccinerequirements.
