Day of the Bible at the Capitol Announced- January 22, 2026

Dear West Virginia Christian,

How would you like to help bring an original 1782 KJV Bible to WV and put a First American KJV Replica Bible into the hands of every state legislator including the Governor and supreme court judges?

If yes, please make plans to join us on January 22, 2026 in Charleston for “Day of the Bible at the WV State Capitol. Below are the details:

The ceremony begins at noon with a special prayer, pledge, and singing of the National Anthem.

There will be special speakers including Senators, Delegates, and Pastors.

Presentation of an original 1782 Robert Aitken King James Bible by First American Bible Project. This Bible is the only Bible ever approved by Congress for the American people. It was the first English Bible printed in America.

Pastors and churches will present their representatives with a personally engraved 1782 replica Bible.

Invite your churches to come and be apart of this special day.

The total cost of the project is $18,000. We have already raised over $15,000. Each Bible is $120 which includes the representatives name engraved. We will be presenting Bibles to every legislator, Governor, Secretary of State, Treasurer, Auditor, Commissioner of Agriculture, and the five state supreme court judges.
