Everyone Has a Ministry, No Matter Where You Work!

WVCEA Fine Arts Competition helps prepare young people of all different ages and talents for future ministry opportunities

On April 26-27, hundreds of elementary and Jr. High students, teachers, and parents met for competition at Lewisburg Baptist Academy. They competed in and awards were given for Bible, music, speech, art, academics, and chess. Kim Wiebe is the Fine Arts Director for WVCEA and oversaw our competition this year.

We are so grateful for all of the hard work that the students put in this year in their preparation and the weekend of competition. But to an even greater level, we are thankful for the faithful teachers and other faculty at each school that worked through rehearsals, provided transportation, encouraged practice and patience in the students, and gave leadership and direction. Finally, we praise God for the faithful volunteers and staff in Lewisburg who served, judged, and hosted to make this year's competition an incredible success!

Blaine Comer, the administrator of Lewisburg Baptist Academy and his faculty team prepared the video below to commemorate this year’s competition and to give our readers a wonderful overview of this special 2-day event!

Vaccines won’t prevent it. Masks won’t keep it away. No amount of sanitizer can ward it off. Medicine cannot ease its symptoms. Neither the CDC nor the Health Department can trace its spread.
